Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in care or willingness to work towards it.
• Previous experience in a similar care role.
• Able to lead a team and work flexibly evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high care standards by supporting residents with daily living activities.
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff and new team members.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs with dignity.
• Monitor residents with limited mobility and use aids effectively.
• Record care plans and daily notes in line with policy.
• Support social activities and engage residents in hobbies and events.
• Respond to nurse calls, doors, lines, and messages promptly.
• Report wellbeing concerns to GPs and management.
