We’re looking for an experienced and confident Senior Care & Support Worker to support the day to day delivery of high quality care and support services within our Care & Support team.
Working closely with the Registered Manager and Team Leader, you’ll help lead and support the staff team while continuing to deliver person centred care to residents. You’ll play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring care is delivered safely, compassionately and in line with individual care plans.
This is a hands on role that combines leadership with direct care. You’ll be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of residents and the service, including evenings, weekends, on call duties and rota cover where required. The role involves physically demanding work, including moving and handling, and supporting residents through both routine and emergency situations.
You’ll be based at Ryde Village, Green Meadows, Furze Brake, or one of our Personal Budget service schemes on the Isle of Wigh t, depending on the vacancy you’ve applied for. You may also be required to attend training at other offices or schemes.
You’re an experienced care professional with the confidence to support and motivate others while delivering excellent care yourself. You’re calm under pressure, organised and committed to safeguarding, quality and continuous improvement.
You’ll be part of our Care & Support service, delivering CQC regulated, person centred care to adults with a range of support needs.
The service focuses on promoting independence, dignity and quality of life, with care and support delivered in line with individual care plans and best practice. Working within a supportive team environment, colleagues deliver care in safe, respectful and well managed settings.
