Job summary

Quantum Care's Providence Court Care Home in Baldock is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join the welcoming team. You will lead a designated unit, review care plans, and provide personal care to residents.

This full-time, permanent role is 37 hours per week, with a PAY of £15.55 per hour on weekdays and £16.55 per hour on weekends, plus weekend enhancements. A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is essential; Level 3 is desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
