Job summary

Avante Care & Support is seeking a Senior Care Lead at Amherst Court. You will lead and mentor a care team, provide hands-on resident care, and ensure high standards in a welcoming home environment.

You’ll support training and development, and act as in-house leadership during shifts, with a genuine passion for improving residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential).
• Experience leading care teams is desirable.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Care Support Assistants to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
• Provide hands-on care and build meaningful connections with residents.
• Manage the home in the absence of senior leadership.
• Support training and development for colleagues.

Join Our Caring Team as a Senior Care Lead

Location: Amherst Court

Pay: £14.72 - £15.22 per hour

Hours: Nights - 33 hours per week night shifts available (including alternate weekends) and Bank Shifts for Days and Nights
