Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Care Group Manager to lead the Clinical Support Services care group, delivering safe, efficient, patient-centered care across multiple services.

You will oversee a broad portfolio, engage senior clinicians and managers, and drive transformation aligned with NHS values. Flexible working and a strong pension package are available as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior operational delivery within a hospital setting.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to internal and external groups.
• Experience in policy development, guidelines and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational delivery of services within the care group to ensure safe care and efficient use of resources.
• Manage a wide range of stakeholders across the Trust including clinicians and operational managers.
• Lead on service and Trust-wide transformation projects aligned with Trust values.
• Support development of services to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
