Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Postgraduate study or demonstrable professional development.
• Leadership and management training.
• Experience in a leadership role within healthcare or similar.
• Ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading change initiatives.
• Day-to-day staff management experience.
• Knowledge of NHS targets, initiatives and standards.
• Ability to analyse complex data for operational decisions.
• Financial/budgetary management knowledge and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership within the Care Group and support day-to-day delivery.
• Address capacity, patient flow, safety and experience; meet performance targets.
• Lead service improvement using performance data and drive change initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, contracts and record patient activity accurately.
• Oversee estates matters, health and safety; deputise for the Service Manager when required.
• Recruit, appraise and develop staff; manage priorities and deadlines.
