Job summary

Be Caring Ltd in Newcastle (Gosforth) is seeking a experienced Lead Coordinator to join LIFE, guiding a small team of Coordinators in planning, delivering and improving support for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

You’ll oversee care coordination, rosters, and on-call coverage, working with the Operations Manager to ensure safe, person-centred services that meet CQC standards and strive for Outstanding. Driver licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a coordination or scheduling role in health or social care.
• Experience managing or supporting a team.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure with competing demands.
• Strong verbal and written communication with external professionals.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience with Learning Disabilities and Autism is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of Care/rotas across LIFE services and lead a team of Coordinators.
• Ensure care plans are met and staff rotas are timely and accurate.
• Lead on changes to care plans and manage annual leave/ capacity.
• Ensure data input in care management system is current (ECM/RoadRunner).
• Provide line management, development and on-call duties as required.
