Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking several Senior Care Assistants for care homes around Nottingham. The role requires high-level personal care, strict safety and medication handling, and strong communication with the care team to support residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities, respecting privacy, and occasional light housekeeping. Shift times vary, with options for days and afternoons. DBS and training are prerequisites, with sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Certificate.
• Up-to-date mandatory training in Infection Control, Safeguarding, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as Senior Care Assistant.
• Two-year referenceable work history.
• A bubbly and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for residents' well-being.
• Medication training and experience is desirable but not essential.
• Please note that sponsorships are not offered.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of personal care and attention to service users, following care plans, with polite, friendly, warm and supportive contact.
• Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety, including COSHH, Food Hygiene and Infection control.
• Administering medication to service users and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaising with other care professionals regarding residents' care needs.
• Respecting and maintaining confidentiality of residents' personal information and any incidents.
• Encouraging and supporting residents to participate in leisure activities and escorting to outside appointments and outings.
• Undertaking light cleaning duties to keep the home clean, pleasant and welcoming.
