Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights for Priory Court Care Home in Stamford. You will work with our care team to maintain high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Key duties include monitoring wellbeing, contributing to person-centred care plans, assisting with medication, supervising staff, and serving as a main point of contact for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have 2 years’ experience working in similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans.
• Participate in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and health/social care professionals, escalating concerns or complaints as needed.
