Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is looking for a Senior Care Assistant at Priory Court Care Home in Stamford to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate has an NVQ Level 3 in care, at least two years’ experience in a similar setting, strong communication skills, empathy, and flexibility to cover varied duties.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in care (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Strong communication skills, verbal & written.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and care plan changes.
• Support person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Assist residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support development.
• Serve as key contact for residents, relatives and health professionals; escalate concerns.
