Job summary

Holmes Care Group LTD is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Heatherfield on a 22.5 hour night shift. You will deliver person-centered care, support residents and families, and work with nurses to develop staff, in a compassionate team environment.

Successful candidates will have SVQ Level 3 and relevant health/social qualifications, with prior care industry experience. The role offers a supportive team, ongoing training, and staff recognition opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Health and Social qualification and have experience in the Care Industry.
• Required to hold a current SVQ Level 3 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care and support to residents.
• Supervise and motivate care assistants and function as part of the team.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Support and guide family members.
• Assist trained nurses and unit managers to develop staff.
• Engage in daily activities and provide companionship to residents.
• Maintain good communication with team members.
• Report on residents' wellbeing and liaise with GPs and support managers.
