Job summary

Holmes Care Group LTD is seeking a committed Senior Care Assistant to enrich the lives of residents in a supportive, person-centred environment. You will deliver high-quality care, supervise Care Assistants and work closely with nurses to ensure each resident’s needs are met with dignity and respect.

The role requires a relevant Health and Social qualification and experience in the care sector. We offer excellent pay rates, bank holiday enhancements, and access to training and development

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 qualification required.
• Relevant Health and Social qualification preferred.
• Experience in the care industry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, person-centred care to residents.
• Supervise and motivate Care Assistants and function as part of the team.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Support and guidance to family members.
• Assist trained Nurses and Unit Managers to lead staff development.
• Engage residents in daily activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and other departments.
• Report on residents' wellbeing and liaise with GPs and care managers.
