Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join the team at Larkfield View. The role covers 38.5 hours per week across days and nights, with responsibilities to deliver great, person-centred care to residents.

You will supervise care staff, assist with all care needs, support families, and work with nurses and managers to maintain high quality care. Relevant Health & Social care qualifications and prior care experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
• Demonstrate experience in caring for adults in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, person-centred care to residents.
• Supervise and motivate care colleagues.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Support and guide family members and liaise with the care team.
• Work with nurses and managers to develop staff and care plans.
• Maintain communication and build relationships with the team.
