Job summary

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home in Southport, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver high quality, person-centred care. You will manage shift operations, organise care delivery, oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and maintain records with families and healthcare professionals.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable), medication training, strong communication and leadership skills, and you may work

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency
• Experience supporting or leading a care team
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team to deliver high quality, person centred care
• Ensure smooth shift operation with well organised care delivery
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with families and professionals
• Be available to work alternate weekends
