Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm Senior Care Assistant for Silvermere Care Home in Cobham, Surrey. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role requires NVQ 3 or equivalent, two years of experience in a similar setting, and strong communication skills. DBS check will be completed by Avery, and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience working in similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and health/social care professionals.
