Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group seeks a warm Senior Care Assistant for Merlin Court Care Home in Marlborough, Wiltshire. You will support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, respectful environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Eligibility includes NVQ 3 or equivalent, about 2 years in similar care settings, and strong communication. DBS disclosure will be arranged by Avery, and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have 2 years' experience working in similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning with monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Serve as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health professionals.
