Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Dukes Court Care Home in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, compassionate environment.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes with about 2 years’ experience in a similar setting. A DBS disclosure and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needed.
• Support person-centred care planning and conduct monthly evaluations.
• Assist residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, and health/social care professionals; escalate concerns as required.
