Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to care for residents with physical, psychological and social needs. You will assist with personal care, meals, and daily living activities while leading a team across shifts.

Ideal candidates will have Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualifications and prior care-home experience, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading a team.
• A committed and organised approach.
• A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts.
• Previous experience working in a Care Home environment (Essential).
• Experience of working as a Senior Care Assistant (Essential).
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential to commence in the role, although essential to complete on successful appointment of the role if not already obtained).

Responsibilities

• Care for residents like family, covering physical, psychological and social needs.
• Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, dressing and meals.
• Lead and support team to deliver high-quality care.
