Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support residents with their physical, psychological and social needs. You will help with personal care, hygiene, dressing and meals in a compassionate environment.

We value candidates with Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualifications and prior senior care or team-leading experience, with flexibility to work across 7 days. Training and development are provided to grow within MMCG.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care home environment.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification required.
• Level 3 qualification desirable to commence/complete on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents’ physical, psychological and social needs.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing and meals.
• Lead and coordinate care activities with the team; ensure good communication.
• Offer flexible shifts across seven days to support work-life balance.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistantfor Maria Mallaband Care Group we ask you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. We would love to hear from you if you have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Senior Care Giver, Homecare Worker, in Social Careor as a Community Support Worker.

We offer our care staffflexible hours on full or part time basis over the 7 day week to offer a good work-life balance.

*Candidates must have their level 2, with Senior Care experience and be willing to complete their Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (if not already obtained) in order to be considered for this role.

Additional experience desirable for this role:
