Job Description: Senior Care Assistant at Littleton Lodge

As a Senior Care Assistant at Littleton Lodge, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and providing social and recreational activities, including medication administration.

Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key parts of your role. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
