Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Cathedral Care Centre Bank. The role leads a team to provide compassionate, person-centred care, supporting the Manager and stepping in during their absence. You will help uphold residents' rights, promote independence, and ensure high standards of daily living for all residents.

You will join a close-knit team that values quality service, training, and ongoing development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
• Passion for elderly care and commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and co-ordinate a team to provide high-quality care.
• Support the Manager in home management and resident dignity.
• Assist with daily care needs and maintain confidentiality.
• Promote resident participation in care planning and review.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and safety.
• Attend mandatory training and ensure policy-compliant care delivery.
