Job summary

Greensleeves Care provides 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care across 26 homes in England. The Senior Care Assistant role supports the team in delivering compassionate care, ensuring residents' wellbeing and smooth daily operations within a home setting.

Applicants should have a QCF qualification in social care, experience with medication administration, and a commitment to confidentiality. Roles are UK-based and open to eligible candidates nationwide.

Qualifications

• QCF diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Experience in providing care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support the care team to maintain a safe, welcoming home.
• Respond to call bells and coordinate with visitors and healthcare staff.
• Liaise with GPs, District Nurses and others to meet residents' healthcare needs

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc.

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Experience in providing care
