Job summary

Greensleeves Care is a respected charity providing 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care across 26 homes in England. We are Living Wage accredited and offer free learning, with Skills for Care endorsement.

The Care Assistant role focuses on supporting residents with daily living, dignity, and independence. Applicants should have an understanding of residents' needs and confidentiality, with Desirable QCF Level 2 in Care.

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to residents while maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, bathe and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, e.g. incontinence.
