Job summary

Woodland Grove in Loughton, United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver person-centred care to residents. You will supervise daily living tasks, assist with personal care, meals, and medication following training, and maintain care plans and records.

The role is permanent, 42 hours per week, with day shifts. We offer a supportive team environment where residents’ dignity and wellbeing come first.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.
• Trained in medication administration.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written and digital skills.
• Caring attitude.
• Flexible and reliable.
