Job summary

Woodland Grove is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our caring team in Loughton. You will lead a group of Health Care Assistants, support residents with daily living, and administer prescribed medications within guidelines.

We value teamwork, compassion and a strong commitment to high-quality, person-centred care for every resident. This permanent role offers day shifts and a competitive hourly rate of £14.30.

Qualifications

• At least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Trained in medication administration.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Time management to delegate tasks within a team.
• Excellent communication – verbal, written and digital skills.
• Caring attitude and flexible, reliable approach.
