Job summary

Woodland Grove in Loughton is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care, lead a team of Health Care Assistants, and act as a positive role model. This permanent night-shift role offers competitive pay and benefits at Oakland Care.

Hours: 42 hours per week

Pay: £14.30 per hour

Contract: Permanent

What you need to succeed:

• At least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/or working towards it).

• Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal (within the team and to other external professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) and digital skills.
