Job summary

Hartford Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts in Basildon to provide high quality, personalised care and support to residents. You will lead the night team, supervise shifts and promote a warm, dignified environment, ensuring privacy and independence for residents.

The role requires at least 2 years’ care experience, an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care, and strong communication and IT skills. DBS check will apply.

Qualifications

Senior Care Assistant - Days

33 hours per week

Location: Primecare, Basildon, Essex (SS16 4QL)

The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualised care and support to residents during the night time, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence, be responsible for supervising and leading the shift and team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are carrying out a direct observation on a care assistant supporting someone to have a late night snack, checking that a resident’s turning chart has been completed, giving a detailed handover to the morning team, or assisting a resident to get ready for bed in the evening, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
