Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant to provide high quality, individualised care to residents during the night, lead the shift and supervise team members, and foster a warm, caring atmosphere.

You will need at least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant, a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate staff and work on your own initiative. An Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Job description

This position will include an additional £2,000 attraction payment which will be paid as £1000.00 on joining and £1000.00 on completion of the probationary period. This will only be valid for direct applications not through an agency. T&C's apply.

The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualised care and support to residents during the night time, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence, be responsible for supervising and leading the shift and team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are carrying out a direct observation on a care assistant supporting someone to have a late night snack, checking that a resident’s turning chart has been completed, giving a detailed handover to the morning team, or assisting a resident to get ready for bed in the evening, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
