Job summary

Cherrybrook Care Home in Bradford is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our day shifts on a full-time basis. You will support delivery of person-centred care for residents with complex needs, including dementia and mental health conditions, and oversee medication administration.

The role requires calm, resilient leadership of a care team, accurate record keeping, and compassionate communication with residents, families and professionals. DBS paid, pension, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
• Medication administration training with competency
• Experience supporting or leading a care team within a care environment
• Confidence supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health or behavioural support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, patient and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication administration and ensure residents' wellbeing.
• Support and supervise Care Assistants to maintain a calm, stable environment.
• Follow and review care plans and maintain accurate records and communication with families and health professionals.
