Job summary

Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs, including dementia and mental health conditions. You will help organise shifts, ensure safe and consistent care, and liaise with families and healthcare professionals.

The role involves supporting and guiding care assistants, following care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation in a calm, resilient team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is required (minimum).
• Level 3 qualification desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing.
• Review care plans and maintain accurate records.
