Job summary

SkyCare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents in our care home in Bradford. The role includes planning, implementing and supervising quality care, ensuring residents retain dignity and individuality, and contributing to daily activities.

Key requirements include previous care experience, NVQ Level 2 in Care (desirable), and potentially training in Safe Handling of Medicines.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care is desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience/Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines is a plus.
• Previous experience with the relevant Service User group is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home.
• Utilize IT systems for record-keeping and reporting to enhance care delivery.
• Drive to various locations as required for resident activities or appointments.
