Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant to join Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. You will work with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will monitor wellbeing, support medication administration, contribute to care planning, supervise staff, and be a key contact for residents, relatives and health professionals. DBS check is required and UK work eligibility must be shown.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in care for care homes.
• At least 2 years in a similar care environment.
• Good communication skills and a caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Assist with medication administration as required.
• Provide supervision and support to care staff.
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
