Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for Seagrave House Care Home in Corby. You will work with our care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

We value compassion, reliability and clear communication. The role requires NVQ 3 or equivalent and around 2 years’ care home experience; you should be responsive, flexible and comfortable supporting residents and colleagues across shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident and updating care plans as needed.
• Involvement in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
• Acting as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, and health and social care professionals.
