Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant for Seagrave House Care Home in Corby, Northamptonshire. You will deliver high standards of personal care and work with the care team to ensure residents receive compassionate, continuous support.

Full induction and training are provided to build confidence and skills; DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are part of the process. The role is on site at Seagrave House with supportive team overhead.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Demonstrates initiative and a respectful, proactive attitude.
• Efficient worker able to follow instructions from the team.
• Flexible and adaptable to different tasks and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene ensuring dignity and independence.
• Recognise and act on clinical risk areas such as weight loss, falls risk, or infections and escalate as needed.
• Maintain courteous interactions with residents and visitors and follow safe working practices.
