Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Experience in a senior care role is desirable.
• Commitment to person-centred care and teamwork.
• DBS checks and references may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high‑quality care.
• Develop and implement care plans and participate in care reviews where appropriate.
• Ensure safe storage, documentation and administration of medication in line with guidelines.
• Support residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Caldene Rest Home.

• Schedule: Rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Rate of pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
• Required: Completed or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and involvement, where appropriate, in care reviews.
• Ensure the safe storage, documentation and administration of medication is carried out in accordance with guidelines and training.
