Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Senior Care Assistant for a casual, part-time role at a care home in the North East. You’ll supervise Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager and support clinical tasks such as medication reviews and care plans, while upholding dignity and personalised care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Respect residents' dignity and preferences and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment.
