HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team in delivering compassionate care in Telford. This full-time night role focuses on personalized care for residents, ensuring their dignity and independence. Candidates should have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and a kind, positive attitude.
About The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that ensures residents feel secure, dignified, and independent. You will get to know residents and their families to help create personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold the highest standards of care and positively influence your team. Whether assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, your approach will be rooted in kindness. You will also support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by facilitating social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, and be willing to work towards Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Most importantly, you should have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and be considerate and kind in all interactions.
