Job summary

Winchester Heights Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join the care team, ensuring high-quality personal care and accurate wellbeing records. You will contribute to care planning and monthly reviews, assist with medication, and support staff development.

The role requires NVQ 3 in care for care homes and at least two years of experience in a similar setting, with DBS clearance and eligibility to work in the UK being essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes is required.
• Two years' experience in a similar care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and amend written records when needs change.

Senior Care Assistant post at Winchester Heights Care Home, one of more than 100 homes run by Avery Healthcare Group. The role supports the care team in delivering personal care, tracking each resident's wellbeing and updating care plans when needs change. It also includes supporting medication, joining monthly care plan reviews, supervising staff and acting as a main contact for families and professionals. Fit depends on an NVQ 3 in care for care homes and two years in a similar setting.
