Job summary

Rose Court Care Home in Radcliffe is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a care team and deliver person-centred residential, nursing and dementia care for residents. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing, and ensure safe, high-quality care across shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is required at minimum; Level 3 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

About Rose Court Care Home

Our 87 bedded home provides residential, nursing and dementia care in Radcliffe, Manchester, supporting older people, people living with dementia and younger physically disabled people. Rose Court is a purpose built home with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, offering a supportive environment where colleagues can develop their skills and make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

We Are Looking For
