As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our residents are individuals with unique stories, and your role is to support them with dignity, independence, and personalized care.
Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care plans, leading a team of Care Assistants, maintaining high standards of care, and engaging with residents and their families. You will assist with physical and mental stimulation activities, administer medication, and ensure accurate record-keeping. You will also support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in daily operations.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to pursue a Level 3 qualification. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Most importantly, you should possess positive energy, excellent communication skills, and a caring attitude.
