About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Everyone working here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, just like you and me. This role involves planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will develop close relationships with residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your responsibilities include assisting with activities, supporting end-of-life care, communicating with families, and maintaining accurate records.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to pursue Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. What matters most is your positive energy, ability to work well with others, excellent record-keeping skills, and effective time management. Always communicate with kindness and consideration.
