About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. This means planning and delivering care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, your approach will be rooted in kindness.Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships.
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly.
