About The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Woodland View care home, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care. All staff understand that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.

In this role, you will plan and deliver care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your duties include assisting residents with mobility, end-of-life care, social activities, medication administration, and maintaining accurate records.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
