About The Role
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and be a positive influence on your team. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount. You will also facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and keep accurate records.
Maintaining accurate documentation and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow if concerns arise. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
