Care Concern Group's Ashton Care Home in Hinckley is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to guide the team in delivering safe, high-quality, person‑centred care to residents. The role involves overseeing medication, monitoring residents’ wellbeing, maintaining accurate care records and ensuring smooth shift operations.
Weekend work on alternate weekends is required. NVQ2 in Health & Social Care is required; NVQ3 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
Our private care home is situated in the beautiful town of Hinckley, close to the town centre. We specialise in Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care, Respite Care, and Palliative care for 72-residents.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
