Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant for Hinckley House Care Home in Leicester. You will support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment.

Role requires NVQ 3 in care and ~2 years’ experience, with excellent communication. DBS check and UK eligibility to work are required; brand-new team, supportive culture, and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
• Monitor the wellbeing of residents, update care plans, and amend records as needs change.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development when required.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals, addressing requests and escalating concerns.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
