Job summary

Care Outlook is recruiting a Field Care Supervisor to maintain and develop home care services in the Lambeth area. You will support Care & Support Workers, implement field-based quality controls, and help ensure high-quality care for clients in London.

The role requires a full driving licence, knowledge of CQC standards, and prior supervisory experience in health and social care. They offer training, a mobile phone, and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2+ years in Health & Social Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Spot check carers in the community, identify good practice and report training concerns to the registered manager.
• Deliver high standards of care and assist with on-call rota.
• Complete care assessments and write Care Plans for clients.
• Assist the registered manager with inspections by local authorities and CQC.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to maintain and develop our home care services in the Lambeth area. Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client's needs you will be supporting with as a Field Care Supervisor:

• Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.)
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Observing, monitoring and record keeping.
