Job summary

Ashbourne Court Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Andover. You will support residents with personal care, meals, and activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity in a compassionate, person-centred approach.

We offer a comprehensive induction, ongoing training, Free DBS, uniform, and retirement benefits. This role is based at SP10 2JJ with 44 hours per week and alternate weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis.
• Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mealtimes.
• Support residents' independence, dignity and respect with person-centered care.
• Help maintain accurate records and undertake regular training.
• Develop relationships with residents and their families to better understand needs.

Senior Care Assistant Salary: £14.00 per hour Hours: 44 hours per week, this includes working alternate weekends Location:Ashbourne Court Care Home, SP10 2JJ At Ashbourne Court Care Home we are looking for a hardworking team player who is passionate about developing a career in the social care industry as a Senior Care Assistant. You will be motivated and compassionate, with a genuine interest in benefitting the lives of those within our care.

Responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant:

• Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis
• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing
• Assisting with mealtimes
• Ensuring residents' independence
• dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
• Helping to maintain accurate records
• Undertaking regular ongoing training
• Developing relationships with our residents and their families in order to gain a better understanding of how to provide the best possible care
