Welford Healthcare Ltd's Westbury care home in Bristol is seeking a Senior Care Assistant on a Bank shift. You will support residents with daily living tasks, provide companionship, and assist with basic care while upholding dignity and respect.

The role requires compassion, teamwork, good communication, and flexibility to work alternating weekends. A comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and DBS checks are provided.

Responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant

As a Senior Care Assistant you will be key to promoting the physical and emotional well-being of our residents in all aspects of their lives. As a valued member of our team, you will be involved in:

• Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis
• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing
• Assisting with mealtimes
• Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
• Helping to maintain accurate records
• Undertaking regular ongoing training
• Developing relationships with our residents and their families in order to gain a better understanding of how to provide the best possible care
