Job summary

Sanctuary is inviting applications for the Senior Care and Support Assistant role at Clover Court, Lowestoft. The post involves leading a team to deliver high-quality care for residents with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The successful candidate will provide personal care, support independence, complete risk assessments and maintain accurate electronic care plans. Excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising people is desirable
• Recent experience supporting vulnerable people in a similar role
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
• Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach
• Strong organisational skills and basic literacy and numeracy
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and encourage independence by building confidence and self-esteem
• Promote safe practices, complete risk assessments and manage safeguarding to keep customers safe
